Alora is currently a senior at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where she is studying musical theater. Alora began her dance education at the early age of two and voice and acting at the age of six. She received professional training at Center Stage Dance and Theater School under the guidance of Jennifer Zizza Taddei, Mickey DeFranco, Elaine Harned, Stephen Waldrup, and George Warren. In 2017, Alora performed Off-Broadway in the new musical, Theater Smash, at The York Theater Company. Other Off-Broadway credits include The Boys From Syracuse and What I Want You to Know, directed by tony award winner George Faision. In October, 2018, Alora will be performing in Hamlet at Live Arts Theater in Chelsea. Alora has been teaching at Center Stage Dance and Theater School for several years and has developed as much a passion for teaching as performing. She continues to teach musical theater, dance, and vocal education to kids from ages 3 to 15 and is beyond excited to teach the wonderful students at JZT Dance the beauty and magic of theater!
